Depending on the condition of the patient, there are two scenarios possible:{{Generaldecrease25p3d}}# Gradually reduce dosage of paroxetine to a maximum of 20 mg/day, and then stop administration abruptly.# Phase out paroxetine from 20 mg/day, to 10 mg/day for one week, and then stop administration abruptly. {{7dWashout}}
