Switch medication from agomelatine to escitalopram.[1] [2]
- Day 1: Stop agomelatine.
- Agomelatine can be stopped abruptly for every dosage.[3]
- Day 2: Start escitalopram with the dosage of 10 mg/day.
- After 3 weeks: If necessary, increase dosage to 20 mg/day.
- A wash-out period is not necessary.
