Imipramine-mianserine

Switch medication from imipramine to mianserine.[1] [2]
- Before day 0: gradually reduce dosage of imipramine to a maximum of 75 mg/day.
- Day 1: reduce dosage of imipramine to 50 mg/day.
- Day 3: reduce dosage of imipramine to 25 mg/day.
Caution is necessary.
- Day 1: simultaneously start administration of mianserine in a low dosage of 30 mg/day.
- Day 8: stop administration of imipramine and continue administration of mianserine.
- If necessary, increase dosage of mianserine.
