Switch medication from moclobemide to vortioxetine.[1] [2]

  • Before day 1: gradually reduce dosage of moclobemide to a maximum of 300 mg/day.
  • Day 1: reduce the dosage of moclobemide to 150 mg/day.
  • Day 8: stop administration of moclobemide.

  • A wash-out period is not necessary.
  • Day 8-9: a wash-out period of two days is necessary.
  • Day 10: start administration of vortioxetine in a normale dosage of 10 mg/day.
