Duloxetine-fenelzine

Switch medication from duloxetine to fenelzine[1][2]
Stop duloxetine - Decrease with about 25% of original dose every 3 days
- Stop and wait 5 days for washout
Start fenelzine- a wash-out period of 5 days is necessary.
- Start fenelzine in a low dosage of 15 mg, 3 times a day, for two weeks.
- After this two weeks the dosage of fenelzine can be increased.
Cave- Occurrence of the serotonin syndrome is possible without wash-out period.
