Switch medication from Risperidone_LA to Pimozide.[1] [2]
- Day 1: Last depot injection
- Day 35-38: approx. 25% of target dose
- Day 39-42: approx. 50% of target dose
- Day 43-46: approx. 75% of target dose
- Day 47: target dose
- During this switch you could monitor ECG, especially in patients prone to QT-conduction problems.
- There is a possibility of QT interval prolongation.[3]
