Switch medication from paroxetine to bupropion[1][2]
Stop paroxetine - Before day 1: If paroxetine dose is above 20mg/day gradually reduce dose to 20 mg/day
- Day 1: Decrease with about 25% of original dose every 3-4 days
Start bupropion- Day 1: start bupropion in a normal dosage of 150 mg/day.
- Day 8: if necessary increase bupropion dosage to 300 mg/day.
