Adding ziprasidone to olanzapine.
- Olanzapine is principally metabolized by CYP1A2 and CYP2D6.
- Ziprasidone is metabolized by CYP1A2 (minor) and CYP3A4.
- There is no evidence published related to this drug combination recently. The combination will have additive side effects.
- Start ziprasidone according to the general dosing advice.
- Agents with anticholinergic properties may have additive effects when used in combination. [4]
